Getting Ready (7 - 10am)
07:00 - Makeup artist arrive at bride’s home. (Here are 10 most highly reviewed MUAs in Singapore.)
07:05 - Mother of bride combs the hair of the bride.
07:15 - Makeup and hair for bride.
08:00 - Photographer and videographer arrive. (This can be earlier if you want to film the "getting ready" and "hair combing ceremony" sessions.)
09:45 - Bride’s parents veil the bride.
10:00 - Groom and groomsmen arrive at bride’s home for gate-crashing.
Gatecrashing (10 - 11am)
10:00 - A young boy from bride’s family opens the car door for the groom (an important tradition, apparently).
10:15 - Gatecrashing games begin.
10:45 - Groom unveils the bride.
11:00 - Portraits with the bride’s family.
Tea Ceremony (11am - 2pm)
11:00 - Bride & groom leaves for groom’s home.
11:30 - Tea ceremony with groom’s family.
12:00 - Leave for bride’s home.
12:30 - Tea ceremony with bride’s family.
13:00 - Lunch
Rest / Optional Photoshoot (2 - 5:30pm)
14:00 - Check into hotel.
14:30 - Rest or do a photoshoot at your reception venue.
16:00 - Makeup artist for the evening look.
Solemnisation (5:30 - 6:30pm)
17:30 - Set up AV (photo montage) and reception table. Set up AV and reception table decor. To save time, we recommend hiring a professional decoration service to set it up for you.
17:50 - Guests and solemnizer arrive. You can use this wedding solemnizer directory to find one that aligns with your vision.
18:00 - Solemnisation ceremony begins (~30 mins).
Dinner Reception (7 - 11pm)
18:40 - Arrive at the dinner venue. We've curated the 5 best venues for hosting a wedding banquet at dinnertime.
18:45 - Families of bride & groom stand by the reception table.
19:00 - Guests arrive. Pre-dinner cocktail starts.
19:30 - Emcee announces for guests to be seated and begins an intro speech. Play video montage.
19:45 - 1st march-in, cake cutting, welcome speech.
20:00 - Dinner begins.
21:00 - (After 4th course) 2nd march-in, champagne pouring ceremony and yumseng
21:45 - Couple will visit each table for photo-taking. (Adjust this time according to the size of your wedding. Each table takes about 5 minutes on average)
22:30 - Farewell.
