You’ve crossed the t’s, RSVP’d your relatives, and taste-tested enough canapés to question your entire palate. But now it’s T-minus 7 days, and suddenly everything feels a little too real.

Don’t panic—here’s your day-by-day timeline of what to do during the final week before your wedding. From steaming the dress to pre-hydrating for gatecrashing, we’ve got the checklist that’ll keep you calm, confident, and (mostly) chaos-free.

7 Days Before – The Final Confirmations

✔ Confirm final headcount with caterer/restaurant/banquet manager
✔ Share confirmed schedule and contacts with vendors (makeup artist, photographer, solemniser, etc.)
✔ Double-check bridal party outfits and accessories
✔ Final dress/suit fitting (if needed)
✔ Write your wedding vows (yes, this is your deadline 👀)
✔ Create your angbao list: who gets what, and how much?
✔ Start packing the wedding day emergency kit (check out our ultimate guide!)

💡 Bridesmaid tip: Pop a few anti-hangover gummies into the kit now—whether it’s for gatecrashing drinks, the hen night, or that one groomsman who can’t say no to whisky.

6 Days Before – Hair, Nails & Self-Care Time

✔ Get your nails done (this is not the day to experiment with neon)
✔ Touch up your hair colour or get a trim
✔ Exfoliate and start hydrating like you’re preparing for a skincare commercial
✔ Pack your honeymoon bag (if you’re leaving right after)

5 Days Before – Final Looks & Logistics

✔ Try on your full outfit with shoes and accessories
✔ Break in your wedding shoes around the house
✔ Prep angbao packets with names and amounts
✔ Confirm who is bringing what (decor, tea set, rings, signage, etc.)
✔ Create a “Wedding Command Centre” box with everything: USBs, marriage cert, vows, pens, power banks, etc.

4 Days Before – Delegate & Trust

✔ Assign roles: who is in charge of guest seating, vendor coordination, cueing music, handling gatecrash props, etc.
✔ Share vendor contact list with your MOH or best man
✔ Settle payment envelopes (label clearly, assign a trusted helper to distribute)

You are not the coordinator. You are the star.

3 Days Before – Beauty Sleep & Buffets

✔ Get your brows shaped
✔ Have a relaxing dinner with family (before relatives start arriving en masse)
✔ Do one last weather check and plan your umbrella situation
✔ If hosting overseas guests, confirm airport pickups or hotel welcome bags
✔ Hydrate, eat real food, and try not to lose sleep over what time the florist is arriving

2 Days Before – Rehearsals & Packing

✔ Rehearse ceremony flow if you have one (and walk in your heels!)
✔ Pack overnight bags if staying in a hotel
✔ Double-check that all outfits are steamed/ironed
✔ Charge all devices, cameras, speakers, and power banks
✔ Pack touch-up kits, tissues, snacks

1 Day Before – Chill & Celebrate

✔ Go for a gentle massage (avoid deep tissue—you don’t want a sore back!)
✔ Eat your favourite comfort meal
✔ Lay out your outfit, accessories, and wedding rings
✔ Sleep early
✔ Do. Not. Check. The. Seating. Plan. Again.

Take deep breaths, trust the process, and remember: everyone is already proud of you.

Bonus: The Morning Of

✔ Eat something light but filling
✔ Stay hydrated (through water, not just champagne)
✔ Take a Revit gummy if there was alcohol involved the night before
✔ Smile, breathe, and let go—it’s your wedding day. You’ve done the work. Now it’s time to enjoy every single moment.
