Actual Day Wedding Schedule for Lunch Banquets in Singapore (Updated in 2025)

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Thank you for choosing Bridely to be part of your wedding journey.

To help you navigate your wedding day seamlessly, we've created a comprehensive actual day wedding schedule for you. Remember, you can always adjust it to match your needs.

💡
This page is for LUNCH banquets. For DINNER banquets, visit this page for your full wedding day programme.

We've prepared a fully editable PDF of this programme, so that you can adjust it to your needs.

Getting Ready (5 - 7:30am)

05:00 - Makeup artist arrive at bride’s home. (Check out our top picks for makeup artists)
05:05 - Mother of bride combs the hair of the bride.
05:15 - Makeup and hair for bride.
06:00 - Photographer and videographer arrive. (This can be earlier if you want to film the "hair combing ceremony" sessions.) We have curated the best wedding photographers in Singapore, according to reviews.
07:15 - Bride’s parents veil the bride.
07:30 - Groom and groomsmen arrive at bride’s home.

💡
Many brides start their day with early call times, so it’s important to choose an artist who’s experienced with actual day timelines. For example, Anna Makeup is highly reviewed for her soft glam bridal looks that hold up all day.

Gatecrashing (7:30 - 8:30am)

07:30 - A young boy from bride’s family opens the car door for the groom (an important tradition, apparently).
07:45 - Gatecrashing games begin.
08:15 - Groom unveils the bride.
08:20 - Portraits with the bride’s family.

📷
We recommend finding a wedding photographer like Cheeky Frames who can capture both raw, candid moments and posed shots with ease.

Tea Ceremony (8:30am - 10:30am)

08:30 - Bride & groom leaves for groom’s home.
09:00 - Tea ceremony with groom’s family.
09:30 - Leave for bride’s home.
10:00 - Tea ceremony with bride’s family.
10:30 - Leave for solemnisation venue.

Solemnisation (11 - 11:30am)

10:50 - Guests and solemniser arrive.

🌹
At this point, your event styling vendor should already have prepared the floral arches and signages, and decorated the reception table.

11:00 - Solemnisation ceremony begins.
11:30 - Leave for lunch banquet venue.

Lunch Reception (12 - 3:30 pm)

11:50 - Set up AV and reception table decor.
12:00 - Guests arrive. Pre-lunch cocktail starts.

💡
Keep your guests entertained with a fun photobooth while they wait!

12:30 - Emcee announces for guests to be seated and begins an intro speech. Play video montage.
12:40 - 1st march-in.
12:50 - Cake cutting ceremony, welcome speech.
13:00 - Lunch begins.
14:00 - (After 4th course) 2nd march-in, champagne pouring ceremony and yumseng

To surprise your guests, consider adding something cheeky to your wedding favours — like some anti-hangover gummies. It’s a practical way to help guests feel great the next morning, especially after a day of yumseng and champagne!

14:45 - The couple will visit each table for photo-taking. (Adjust this time according to the size of your wedding. Each table takes about 5 minutes on average)
15:20 - Farewell

Hope this helps! As you plan your wedding, be sure to read reviews written by graduated couples about your wedding venue & vendors. Trusted recommendations can make all the difference on your big day. 💜
