Your Essential Wedding Packing List for Your Actual Wedding Day in Singapore

Leading up to my AD, I spent 3 days putting together a comprehensive packing list. So I decided to share my packing list here to save you the time!
Solemnization
- Legal Documents: Marriage license, identification, and any required paperwork from ROM.
- Wedding rings and ring pillow
- Attire and Accessories: bride’s wedding dress and gown, bridal veil, groom’s suit, accessories, and shoes.
- Vows and Scripts: Printed copies of vows or scripts for a smooth ceremony.
- Emergency Kit: Safety pins, tissues, and basic first aid items.
Reception
- Seating Arrangements: A copy of the seating plan for reference.
- Wedding timeline: Copies for your venue coordinator and your bridesmaids/groomsmen.
- AV: Laptop or phone to connect to the venue’s AV for your march-in music.
- Angbao box
- Reception table decor
- Guestbook and pens
- Speeches and Toasts: Your scripts for speeches and toasts.
- Entertainment Props: Items for any planned activities or games.
- Angbao to tip vendors & service staff (optional)
- Water bottle + straw (to protect lipstick)
Tea Ceremony
- Tea Set: Elegant tea pot and disposable cups, tea tray, napkins
- Tea packets and kettle
- Sugar to sweeten the tea (if it is not already sweet)
- Traditional Attire: Outfits for the couple, respecting cultural traditions.
- Angbao box to collect the red packets you will be receiving
- Prepare angbao to give to younger family members if you are receiving tea from them
Hotel Stay for the Night
- Change of Clothes: Pajamas for the night, clean civilian clothes for the next day when you check out.
- Toiletries: Essentials for an overnight stay, e.g. contact lens & solutions, eye drop
- Chargers: Keep your devices powered for post-wedding communication.
